Kind Cup Celebrates Two Years of Industry-Leading Menstrual Cup Design with The New Violet Cup
Founder and Designer Christine Brown continues to improve the design to keep the already patented Kind Cup a trusted leader and customer favorite
Santa Barbara, California – (November 8th 2021): For two years, Christine Brown, Kind Cup designer and founder, has been relentless in striving to make the Kind Cup the best menstrual cup on the market. Recent design improvements to make the stem even more user-friendly continue to set Kind Cup apart from the rest. To celebrate this month, Kind Cup releases the Violet Cup, with a fun new color and even better user experience, but the same non-toxic, high standards.
“We have always focused on providing our customers with the most exceptional period product possible, so when customers expressed a desire for the original Size Regular stem to be a little grippier and a tiny bit thicker, we made it happen,” says Brown. “Amidst all the supply chain craziness that’s impacting every industry and despite being a small startup, we are so happy we could make this improvement on an already incredible product.”
For Brown, creating an innovative product that’s notably different from designs that have been around since the 1930s was a huge leap of faith. Brown wants to make periods easier for all people and more sustainable, since single-use period products create over 200,000 tons of waste per year. The average person uses over 11,000 tampons over their lifetime, so the reusable menstrual cup makes periods more affordable as well.
Kind Cup has already won praise from users for its newly patented technology. The reusable menstrual cup is intentionally designed to better fit the natural curves and movements of the user’s body. The unique design makes it easy to use, with a comfortable fit and a seal on the cup that assures leak-free reliability. Brown listened to customers’ feedback, and when a few comments came to Kind Cup to make the stem a bit thicker and grippier, the design guru went to work. Kind Cup’s success has focused on making the Kind Cup experience the best it can be for every user, and Brown will continue to strive to keep Kind Cup best-in-class.
Kind Cups are 100% medical-grade silicone and for the new Violet Cups 100% medical-grade pigment as well that meets US FDA regulations and conforms to the following biological testing protocols: systemic toxicity, intracutaneous toxicity, and 7-day implant.
