OVERVIEW ::
we love getting to help design and create spaces within our client’s homes. we had so much fun designing this living room. we love the pop of color the EXISTING sectional provides, so we kept the rest of the color palette in the space full of brightness, warmth and textures.
We chose a neutral rug to ground this space with a subtle bright and warm texture against the wood floors. The warm natural texture will create a nice backdrop within the space. this is a great rug for a high traffic area as it is a durable indoor/outdoor rug.
we recommended one of our favorite coffee tables in this room that is solid wood with a unique shape The the mango wood tones will complement the tones of the hardwood floor perfectly. it also provides cohesive contrast against the white and stone fireplace when looking in from the kitchen area and under the aged iron chandelier.
The accent chair we chose for this space is composed of rattan and wood accents with a solid white cushion that provides stable contrast against the navy sectional. This chair is comfortable while retaining a traditional shape and a cohesive warm wood frame (which compliments the coffee table). For the pillows throughout, we pulled in neutral/cream and some navy accents to compliment the colors found throughout the space. The white/cream pillows provide a nice pop against the navy sofa.
This family room is going to be so beautiful, and we are so excited to see it come together!
