Job Description:
Artisan Creative is looking for an Experience Design Lead to join our client’s Design Leadership Team in Los Angeles and guide design strategy and direction, influence the brand experience and consult with internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for a subject matter expert and XD thought-leader who facilitates workshops and design sprints, stays abreast of and contributes to the latest developments in the UX and XD communities, and has the ability to present and influence audiences.
In this strategic, research-based role, you will utilize data and collaborate with designers and developers to provide design excellence and consistency for our client’s digital deliverables.
If you have a passion for Experience design, embrace design thinking, and continuously challenge yourself to learn, grow, and share ideas in this discipline, we want to hear from you.
You must have a strong Experience Design portfolio depicting current case studies, strategic thinking, wireframes, UX strategic documents, and prototypes.
You must be an independent thinker yet a proactive team player who can take and give guidance, set the direction and structure, and navigate ambiguity to find answers as needed.
This role is not campaign or advertising-driven; rather, it is focused on the brand design experience.
This is a hybrid role leading the team and hands-on creating prototypes, wireframes, user flows, and visual design.
Requirements:

- Extensive experience within an Enterprise level organization (B2B & B2C)
- Experience collaborating with strategy, design, and development teams
- Experience facilitating workshops and presenting to internal and external stakeholders
- Experience leading teams and projects
- Strong understanding and experience with data and research-based design
- Must have expertise in Brand/UX, Design systems, design patterns, and brand libraries
- Expertise with web, mobile, and application design
- EM (Adobe Experience Manager) or enterprise-level CMS system
- Expertise with Adobe CS, Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
